4 Things Brides Forget On Their Wedding Day
Four things brides tend to forget on their wedding day! Here is a friendly reminder. =)
The whole day begins with the DETAILS! This is one of our favorite parts of the wedding day, because it allows us to prepare and get our creative minds warmed up for the rest of the day! We will photograph a bride’s details in a way that tells a story of the entire wedding day. We think details set the tone for the day of the wedding. I love having as much time as possible to style, and shoot everything from the dress, to the shoes, jewelry, flowers, etc.! Here are a few more reminders to help you prepare for this special day!
1) Gather the goods! We ask the brides to gather any details they have before we arrive so that we can walk in, say hello, give you a big hug and then begin with all the goodies! We recommend spending some time on the theme and bringing some elements to help tie it all together. The more options you bring the more creative we can be.
Detail list typically includes: veil/hair pieces, shoes, bouquet & bout, jewelry, perfume, invitation suit, borrowed & blue
2) KEEP the rings! All of them. It’s so easy to forget this because they are traditionally to be given to the best man, but we need them for detail shots first! One tip is to hand the rings over during the bridal portraits or right before the ceremony so that way we can use them earlier in the day.
3) Flowers please! Have the flowers delivered to you instead of the ceremony site so they can be used for the detail photos Also, get the boutonnières on the boys before they line up! Especially the Groom for the first look. Even if you aren’t going to have a first look you will most likely still need the florals for bridesmaid portraits.
4) Invisible perfections…forget about it! Don’t sweat the small stuff, like tiny strings or if you get a spot on the dress, you wont be able to see it! Take a deep breath and Enjoy the day! We’ve got you!
